How often do airlines change their rates?

If I found a flight I want to take on Continental’s website today, but can’t book it until this weekend (I have to confirm the date), what are the chances the rate will still be the same? The flight is for August.

with the price of fuel rising daily you couldnt possably expect the fare to be the same

Because it is getting close to August, I reckon that it will likely change. The rule is always book as far in advance as possible so that you get the best possible fare and don’t miss out.

it depends on how popular the flight is, the coach cabin has like 7 or 8 classes of service, once all of the lower fares sell out they move on to the next highest and so on and so forth, so if it’s not a popular flight there may still be some of hte cheaper seats left, but no fare is ever guaranteed untill it is purchased.
